Born in Milan, in New York since 2011. The recipes here are what I cook at home.
I'm Sam. I co-founded Gusta with Alberto in 2019, after a blind tasting in my New York apartment where six pastas went head-to-head with no labels. The two we kept eating that night were the two no one was selling in the US.
I'm involved in all sides of the business: running it, growing it, the unglamorous parts. The recipes you find here are what I cook at home in my free time, the dishes I grew up making.
Born and raised in Milan, in New York since 2011. Gusta exists because I missed the pantry I grew up with and couldn't find it on US shelves. So we built it.
