Opened it for crostini. ate half with a spoon

i spread this on toasted bread, added a squeeze of lemon, and called it dinner. Creamy with enough artichoke flavor to keep it interesting. Zero prep and the jar was spotless when it arrived

the texture is somewhere between smooth and chunky. not as smooth as hummus, not as chunky as a tapenade. once i figured out how to use it (on toast, as a pasta base) i loved it. took me one jar to get there.

I use this spread, as a pizza base, as a pasta sauce starter, and as a dip for grilled bread. All four work. Its probably the most versatile thing in my pantry right now.
